Group sessions meet in person at our Fort Myers office every Tuesday evening. Individual sessions are held in person by appointment. Virtual sessions use a secure platform and require a quiet, private space and a phone, tablet, or computer with internet access.
Sessions are structured, respectful, and focused on meeting program or referral requirements while helping you better understand substance use and related decisions.
Many participants come to services through a formal referral. Your counselor works with you to understand what is being requested and to complete required evaluations, groups, or screenings.
Documentation can be provided to referring parties consistent with program requirements. Participation does not guarantee a specific outcome in any legal or court matter.
Virtual counseling is available for referrals that do not involve the Safety Council, such as many non-DUI drug charges.
If you have a DUI and are also required to complete the Safety Council DUI program, your counseling must be completed in person. Call us to confirm which option fits your referral.
